How do I get a Spanish translation quote?
After creating a Spanishwow account, you can easily attach the document(s) you want translated, select the languages and click on the submit button to upload your document(s). For most documents and languages, you will receive an instant price and delivery quote; for others you will receive a quote within one business day. If you do not receive a quote, and/or if you have questions about your project, different languages, etc., please contact us.

How do you charge and what are your rates?
We charge on a per target word basis for every language translated. Per word rates range from $0.16-$0.31 for most languages. Please note that there is a $75.00 minimum charge for each translation order. Other services such as cultural adaptation, flash engineering, and desktop publishing range from $75.00-$125.00 per hour. Users have the option of avoiding minimum charge orders if they bundle small projects as part of the same project.

Yes, Spanishwow offers translation in nearly 50 different languages.

Is there a contact person who can answer my Spanish translation questions?
Yes. We have a dedicated business development and customer service team managing Spanishwow services. From our homepage, the link on the left leads to our company information, and the email links on the right allow you to ask specific questions.

How do I upload more than one document?
Spanishwow allows you to upload multiple documents at a time for Spanish translation. Simply browse to the documents you need translated and submit them for a quote. The Spanishwow system will allow you to submit 20 documents at a time for translation.

How do I retrieve translated documents?
When your translation(s) are ready you will receive a notification email. You can pick up the order by logging in to your account from our homepage and clicking on the “Pickup Order” link. Your order will be available online for 30 days before being archived offline.

How do I view documents that use different characters?
In order to open and view the translated document, your computer must support the language or the document will not display correctly. Microsoft® operating systems including Windows® 2000 and later automatically include multi-language support for double-byte character languages including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean.
If you are using an older version of a Windows operating system, you can download support for double-byte character sets from Microsoft. If you are using Internet Explorer 4.0 or above, click here. -
Which document types can be processed through Spanishwow?
We quote the following file types instantly:
.doc, .docx, .dot, .xls, .xlt, .xlsx, .ppt, .pps, .pptx, .rtf, .txt, .csv, .htm, .html, .xml, .asp, .aspx, .inc, .jsp, .php
All other file types can be uploaded to the site, but will be quoted manually, usually within one business day, depending on the size of the project.The Online Language System (OLS) also allows you to attach reference documents related to your translation.
Note: If the actual word count is significantly different from the one quoted online, we will contact you to let you know any price difference before proceeding. -
What if I don’t see my file type listed?
We can provide an instant online price if your file is a .doc, .docx, .dot, .xls, .xlt, .xlsx, .ppt, .pps, .pptx, .rtf, .txt, .csv, .htm, .html, .xml, .asp, .aspx, .inc, .jsp, .php . If you have a different file type (e.g., zip, Publisher, InDesign, Quark, etc.) simply upload it in the same way and we will provide an estimate, usually within one business day. If your document contains graphics, screenshots, or other elements that require more than just straight translation, we will inform you of any additional charges before proceeding.

Where do your Spanish translators come from? What qualifications do they hold?
We have hundreds of native speaking Spanish translators who specialize in a wide variety of industries such as high-tech, legal, medical and marketing. Each Spanish translator is a native speaker, has at least 3-5 years of professional experience and has professional credentials and a proven track record of Spanish translation, transcreation and localization.

What Spanish dialects do you offer?
Regional specialization includes U.S.-Mexican Spanish translation, U.S.-Caribbean Spanish translation, South American Spanish translation and Spain Spanish translation. Also available is a general Spanish that neutralizes and avoids idiomatic and regional expressions. Spanishwow offers support for many other languages as well. I have forgotten my password, can you email it to me?
If you try to login and have forgotten your password, simply click "I cannot access my account" on our home page and your password will be emailed to your registered email address.

How do I change my account/login details?
Login to "Your Account", and click on Account Details or User Details.

Can I share my account with another person/colleague?
Yes - click on "Additional User" where you can create multiple users under your account.

We currently accept American Express, MasterCard, Discover Card and Visa.
